Health Action MA believes that every child has a right to school-based education regardless of their or their parents’ religious beliefs.  The harms associated with loss of access to education are lifelong and are particularly damaging to marginalized children, including racial and ethnic minorities, those from lower socioeconomic households and those with special needs.  Health Action MA also firmly believes that children and adults who have had adverse reactions to medical products should have appropriate, nuanced medical care that acknowledges uncertainty and gaps in data.  Finally, outside of acute emergencies, only parents or guardians should be making medical decisions for children.
